1. About Us
DataDXB ("we", "us", "our") is a real estate intelligence platform focused on the Dubai property market, operated from the United Arab Emirates. Our website is accessible at datadxb.com.
2. Information We Collect
- Account data: your name, email address and phone number, and whether you are associated with the real estate industry (yes or no). We ask for any of these we don't already have when you sign up or next sign in.
- Authentication data: if you sign in via Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google. If you sign in with an SMS code, we receive your phone number. If you create an account with email, your password is stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider; we never see it.
- Downloads: which research reports you download and when.
- Usage data: pages visited, filters applied, and deals viewed — collected via server logs and analytics tools (Google Analytics).
- Behavioural data: anonymised session recordings, click and scroll heatmaps captured by Microsoft Clarity to help us understand how the platform is used and improve it. Form inputs are masked by default, and we do not record sensitive personal information.
- Location data: country-level IP geolocation used solely to comply with our UAE access requirements.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To provide access to deals, data, tools, and research reports on the platform
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
- To understand who uses DataDXB, for example the share of users who work in real estate, for internal analytics. Your answer does not change the features or access available to you.
- To improve the platform based on usage patterns
- To comply with applicable UAE laws and regulations
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, with infrastructure hosted on AWS. We implement industry-standard security practices. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and analytics cookies set by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to measure usage and improve the platform. No third-party advertising cookies are used.
6. Your Rights
Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.
7. Third-Party Services
We use Supabase (authentication, database, and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Google OAuth (optional sign-in), Twilio (SMS sign-in codes), an email delivery provider (transactional emails), Google Analytics (usage measurement), and Microsoft Clarity (anonymised session replay and heatmaps). Each service has its own privacy policy.
